PROVIDENCE – Providence Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Director Peter T. Gaynor is advising motorists to exercise caution during Tuesday morning’s commute. The National Weather Service is predicting light snow Tuesday morning mixing with rain. There is expected to be additional snow fall during the afternoon commute.
Department of Public Works Crews are monitoring the forecast and are prepared to begin pretreating the main roads as early as 2am Tuesday if necessary. Residents are encouraged to stay tuned to their local forecasts for any additional weather updates.
